Drove through Alfred National Park with views of Croajingolong National Park to the East of us. So very, very beautiful. It just gets better all the time ! Stopped and booked into Big 4 Eden Gateway Caravan Park. Great park, fantastic people.
What can I say about Eden other than it really is an Eden. Everything is here - it is on the fringe of Two Fold Bay, Lake Curalo and Ben Boyd National Park. Can't ask for better. Did lots of drives - Merimbula, Bega, Pambula and so on. Did cheese tasting in Bega and HAD to buy some heritage cheese they only sell from that store. Went to Oaklands Barn and Garden Centre near Pambula - how lovely. All sorts of things to see there, beaut rustic design & construction, garden nursery, local art gallery, old wares and collectible, animal nursery, lovely vistas, a fabulous function centre, cafe/restaurant and most importantly a great cup of coffee LOL.
Our morning walks are a real pleasure - along a boardwalk that runs along the lake, then you cross the road and walk along a pathway parallel to the beach. What a great way to wake up ! People in Eden are so very friendly too, we will be sorry when it's time to leave.
